Visas are done by appointment only. To make a visa interview appointment or to get visa information, please contact the U.S. Visa Information Service by calling 0900 US VISA (0900 878 472).
Important Security Notice Please do not bring mobile phones or any electronic devices, such as Blackberries, iPods, or PDAs as they are not allowed within the Consulate. Do not bring large bags, such as backpacks, suitcases or packages to the interview as there are no storage facilities on Consulate grounds. Only applicants with appointments will be admitted into the Consulate. Exceptions will be made only if the applicant is under 18 accompanied by a parent/guardian, if the applicant requires an interpreter or if the applicant is disabled and requires assistance.

Passport Services for American Citizens

Immigrant and Nonimmigrant visa interviews

If you are journeying to New Zealand from the Pacific Islands it is necessary to make an appointment before arranging travel to New Zealand.
All nonimmigrant visa applicants MUST complete the DS -156 (EVAF) application form online before printing it out. Do not print the form and complete by hand. If you do, you will NOT be interviewed. The DS-156 can be found at: http://evisaforms.state.gov/
