Ambassador McCormick Greatly Saddened

Ambassador McCormick expressed his sadness on learning of the death of former Ambassador Anne Martindell who passed away at Princeton, New Jersey aged 93.

"Anne was a long time friend of New Zealand. Her enthusiasm for sustaining the warm relationship between our two countries was evident when I met her at the Partnership Forum in Auckland last year. All Ambassadors to New Zealand have been aware of her considerable legacy".

The family of former Ambassador Martindell have released her obituary.
